VUE COVID communication

In these extraordinary times, extraordinary measures are required. As a result of the global pandemic brought on by COVID-19, our offices will be closed at least through March 29th, 2020, as recommended by the College of Optometrists of Ontario. At VUE³, we are taking every effort to aid in the quarantine efforts and keep our patients, families, and neighbors as safe and as healthy as possible. We have a tentative reopening date set for May 20, 2020.

We have attempted to reach all of our patients by telephone to reschedule any appointments that would have occurred before March 30. We will be checking phone and email messages sent to each of our clinics regularly throughout each usual business day in case you need to contact us. We are also providing video conference services to our established vision therapy patients to maintain consistency of care.

If you are a patient at VUE³, do not have a primary eye care provider, and, are experiencing a true ocular emergency (a red painful eye, sudden loss of vision, or sudden onset of flashing lights or floating dark spots) please contact one of our offices ASAP and leave a message, so that we may triage your case. Hospitals are still available in the event of a true ocular emergency, however, local health officials wish to keep unnecessary care away from hospitals as much as possible.

By staying apart, we will get through this together.

Thank you for your understanding and stay safe,

The Team at VUE³
