RECONNECT WITH YOUR KID

Your Kid Isn't Dumb....
They May Need a Different Type of Support

You’ve tried everything—tutors, reading programs, behavior charts, even dietary changes—and still, your child struggles to focus, stay on task, or keep up with their peers. Teachers may suggest they’re lazy, distracted, or just not “getting it,” but your gut tells you otherwise. What if the problem isn’t intelligence or effort… but how their eyes are working? Even if your child has “20/20 vision,” they may not be using their eyes efficiently—especially for reading, tracking, or focusing in the classroom.

Our Process

Why Choose VUE Vision Therapy?

Expertise

We have over 50 years of combined experience in pediatric vision therapy, and have helped numerous children overcome a wide range of complex vision challenges.

Customized Treatment

Every patient is unique. That’s why we tailor our vision therapy programs to address your child’s specific needs and goals.

Empowerment

We want your child to thrive and love learning. With effective treatment and support from our vision therapy team, children feel confident and empowered to read, learn – and succeed.

Our three-step process

Step One:

Assess

Meet with one of our Neuro-Optometrists in Guelph or North York, Ontario for a visual assessment, where we explore your child’s medical history, perform diagnostic testing, and determine whether their symptoms are due to an underlying visual condition.

Step Two:

Understand

If your child is diagnosed with a visual condition from the initial assessment, our team will review the vision therapy process with you, answer any questions, and develop your child’s custom treatment plan to their unique strengths and weaknesses.

Step Three:

Engage & Treat

Correcting your child’s vision is a journey that will change the way they engage with the world around them. Shortly after beginning the treatment, you may start to notice your child’s reading comprehension growing stronger, or that they’re more eager to participate in extracurricular activities.

What our patients say

“My daughter was just discharged after two years of vision therapy. It was a long road that required a lot of commitment from my daughter, but she did the work and has seen a lot of improvement. Everyone at VUE3 was great to work with, kind and supportive.”
