Eye Teaming is critical to reading ability.
Published by Dr. Quaid and his team, this in depth publication shows how several measures of eye teaming function are critically linked to reading ability using a Canadian specific group of 100 children with reading based learning disabilities. This paper clearly shows that proper eye teaming skills are vital for reading ability. This research represents 3 years of Dr. Quaid’s research after his PhD and post-doctorate and is a fine example of how eye teaming skills and reading are very much related.

If you have eye teaming issues, you have a 3x higher chance of being diagnosed with ADHD.
This study published by MDs in the USA showed that if you have eye teaming issues, you have a 3x higher chance of being diagnosed with ADHD. 5 out of the 9 DSM symptoms required to diagnose ADHD are identical in eye teaming problems. Using a large sample size of 266 children, this paper highlights the importance of ruling out binocular vision dysfunction before assuming a child has ADD / ADHD.
