Daniel Cunningham, OD, FCOVD
Chief of Clinic Services for VUE3 Vision Therapy
Born in Northern Ontario, Dr. Cunningham always had a spirit of adventure. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Waterloo he moved to Texas where he married his wife, Jennifer. Dr. Cunningham graduated from Nova Southeastern University’s College of Optometry in 2004 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and went on to become Board Certified by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development in vision development, vision therapy and vision rehabilitation.
After graduation, Dr. Cunningham joined a private practice in Bethesda, Maryland where he honed his vision therapy skills. He would go on to practice optometric vision therapy in Annapolis, Maryland and Windsor, Ontario before joining Dr. Patrick Quaid at VUE3 Vision Therapy in Guelph and North York, Ontario.
Dr. Cunningham has had the honour of lecturing on the topic of optometric vision therapy to optometrists, therapists, parents and allied health care professionals over the course of his career. Dr. Cunningham has contributed to the vast research database on optometric vision therapy with his time spent as Chief of Clinic Services for VUE3 Vision Therapy.
In 2020, Dr. Cunningham will celebrate his 21st wedding anniversary with his wife Jennifer. Together they are raising their vibrant 4 year-old daughter, Imogen.
