Our Vision & Commitment
We exist to help people realize their untapped potential by teaching developing brains how to use eyes. We are passionately committed to the outcomes vision therapy can achieve, by listening and understanding each patient’s needs and by guiding, supporting and motivating them.
We prioritize patient-centred care that is grounded in evidence-based, holistic approaches. We look beyond the symptoms and identify the root cause. We then create a treatment plan to resolve the issues and create lasting change.
Meet the team who works hard everyday to make our mission a reality:
Our Amazing Team
Dr. Daniel Cunningham
OD, FCOVD (USA)
Dr. Dan Cunningham is more than an eye doctor; he’s your child’s vision advocate. He’s dedicated to transforming children’s lives through vision therapy. When asked what he does for a living, he has a simple answer: “I teach brains to use eyes.”
Dr. Patrick Quaid
Optometrist, PhD, FCOVD (USA)
Dr. Pat Quaid’s journey is a remarkable blend of personal triumph and professional excellence. Suffering a traumatic brain injury as a child, Dr. Pat’s vision processing issue wasn’t diagnosed until he was asked to focus on a pen in a doctor’s appointment. He replied, “Which one?”
Dr. Hadassa “Dassi” Rutman
OD, FAAO, FCOVD (USA)
Dr. Rutman’s extensive experience in vision care makes her a true pioneer in her field. More than that, Dr. Dassi has personally experienced the challenges of vision processing disorder and self-diagnosed during her pursuit of optometry accreditation. She reflects, “People don’t know that the rest of the world isn’t seeing the world they do…I did well academically, but I had to work so hard for my grades. I couldn’t understand why my peers didn’t have to work as hard as I did.”
Dr. Carrie Murphy
OD, FCOVD (USA)
Dedicated, kind-hearted and enthusiastic, Dr. Carrie Murphy is dedicated to improving vision, balance, and focus. After practicing in the US for 13 years Dr. Murphy moved back to Ontario in 2021 to be close again to her family. With a strong desire to help patients see beyond 20/20, she has direct experience with local schools, outdoor and home-schooling organizations.
